Unsaid words and complicated feelings hang in the air. Everyone, at some point, has felt butterflies in their stomach over a certain someone. This poem tells you about liking someone very much, but not being able to tell them, because of fear of rejection.

“summer after summer”

The mostly awaited season carry’s a feeling of nostalgia. There is always a bitter-sweetness of remembering a previous summer, but realizing that a part of it has left for good. And, although, summer carries innocence, more often than not, we find ourselves imagining, how would a summer turn out if the person had stayed.
