Poem: 2 meters isn’t enough

Angliski, Kultūra

By an anonymous 10th grade student

2 meters isn’t enough
For me to get to the top
Distance yourself from me
If you don’t want to get hit with a knee

March, April, and May
I couldn’t go to the bay
Spent all my time inside
Almost had my hair dyed

We had to wear a mask
Which wasn’t a difficult task.
Why did everyone make a fuss?
They still could ride the bus.

When June came
Corona still wasn’t away
But the restrictions were eased
And most people were pleased

When the end of summer came
People had no shame
They traveled far away
Taking Corona with them, by the way.

It’s the start of September
I hope people still remember
It’s important to stay healthy
So you can become wealthy
